Our work in Barkisland covers a variety of electrical installation and testing in domestic properties.
Because of the wide mix of housing in the village we get involved in plenty of lighting and power projects for customers. Older houses typically have too few power sockets (one per room is common), but adding sockets is made easier with traditional floorboarding which can be easily removed and replaced.
Outside lighting and power is a common theme, again since older houses are built without. This is more challenging due to the stone walling used, but with the right tools and quality workmanship it is possible to put electrical accessories in most places.
